Tín Chung

Xin chào, I'm Tín, a multidisciplinary designer based in Saigon who treats research and process as the foundation of every project.

To me, a designer's thinking, point of view, and working process matter more than the scale or exposure of any single project. The works selected here reflect that belief, chosen to show my process-driven approach.

WORKBeyond 2D (2024)TYPEIdentityATRMIT SGS Campus, March 2024.

Context

In March 2024, RMIT University hosted an on-site exhibition titled Beyond 2D, showcasing the best motion graphics and 3D renders from the Design & Computing 2 course in the Design Studies program. Working alongside a friend, Alicia, Tín was responsible for the 3D modeling and key visual creation for the event, which served as both exhibition material and promotional content across social media.

Concept

Drawing from the course's two assignments, motion graphics and 3D robot modeling, the identity was built around a single gear wheel modeled by Tín, rotating on top of a flat 2D graphic plane. The pairing adds a quiet perspective depth to the printed key visuals, letting the form push past its surface to embody the exhibition's name, Beyond 2D.
