Logo was awarded Second Place in the
RMIT 25 Years in Vietnam Anniversary Logo competition.

Approach

"RMIT 25 Years in Vietnam" reimagines the anniversary mark as a story before a symbol. The project began with research, pulling keywords from RMIT's Brand Guidelines, Country Commitment, and Knowledge with Action strategy, then mapping them to trace what RMIT stands for and has been doing in Vietnam for the past quarter century.

Concept

The RMIT Pixel is split into quarters to mark 25 years as a quarter century, then paired with a prism beam, a metaphor for how research and innovation refract into transformative experiences and radiant impact.

The beam's colors are tuned to the Australia and Vietnam flags, honoring the partnership RMIT Vietnam was built on.

The result is a mark that earns its meaning twice: once in the form of a quartered Pixel and a refracting prism, and once in the story it carries: Constant innovation, radiant impact.
